It’s been a loooooooong 18+ months since we last played any gigs. Our last gig in Edinburgh with Northern Trendkill a long and distant memory. It’s been a little over three years too, since I auditioned for, and was accepted into, the ArrAnthrax family as vocalist and July 2021 has proven to be one hell of a month to celebrate our Third Year Anniversary as a band!
COVID has been a pisser for us all, no doubt about it. We started getting back into the studio at the start of May thinking we had Rockprest to prepare for at the end of June, but lockdown cancelled that. We then kept our fingers crossed that the same fate wouldn’t befall Festwich, a festival we should have been at in 2020.

Waiting for 19 July being confirmed as a whole relaxation of restrictions was nerve inducing to the max, but the date appeared, and it was green light for go and we had our first gig appearance in 18 months to look forward to.
It’s the Sunday night following our first appearance at Festwich, and it has been another gigging weekend for us to remember. We travelled to the festival, for the first time in our very own ArrAnthrax splitter, complete with kit, songs, and more… The adrenaline kicked us along and down the M6 to Prestwich, just outside of Manchester where we took to the stage following an amazing System of a Down tribute, Toxicities. The rest as they say is history.

We had an absolute blast at Festwich. Not just from playing, but from being a part of something this big on the tribute act scene. Never in our three years as a band could we have hoped to have been taking part in something as big as this.
Yes, it’s good to be back, it’s good to be playing live again, and it’s good to be bringing the noise to all you folk out there.
To the Festwich crew; Jools, Dawn, and all their team, along with everyone who took the time to speak with us, watch us, cheer us, sing along with us, mosh with us, and more… we are truly grateful to have been given the opportunity to do something that we love to make you lot, and us, very happy indeed.
What a weekend. What a festival. It was great to be taking the music back. Now, onto Trillians in Newcastle on Aug 28th with Live Undead. Be there. We will.
All the best to you all… Keep spreading the disease
