Today was a monumentous day for us lot in ArrAnthrax. Yes, today saw our return to the studio for the first time in almost 5 months. Beyond the nervousness of being in a public place and a first venture out into the open since lockdown, we were also all very nervous of just how rough we were going to be.
We don’t think we were as bad as we thought we were perhaps going to be, yes, it was certainly rough around the edges in places which is to be expected, but we kicked on and jammed out and blew away the cobwebs for any of you that managed to watch a first for us when we tried a facebook live stream of our jam.
You can still see the video over on our facebook page here

So, we’ve got a new home too, seeing as all bands who have any kinds of serious playing about them use the best in Glasgow, we decided to as well to lower the tone. First visit to Berkeley 2 for me, if not the rest of the lads, and it thoroughly deserves its standing. Amazing studio, amazing sound, great quality equipment, and to boot they are also doing their best to maintain the whole social distancing and sanitisation of the studio too. Top job to them and so glad they’re back open again.
Where does this leave us with gigs, we’re still not sure. It still looks like a long way off before there may even be any consideration of gigs so who know, perhaps we’ll keep doing the odd live stream for you guys in Berkeley until you’re bored of us!
Until that time does arrive, we’ll just keep on practising and preparing the best Anthrax tribute we can for you guys so when the gigs do arrive we’re ready to Bring The Noise to you all.
It’s great to be back, but please remember, stay safe, keep the heid, and most importantly look out for each other.
We’ll see you all soon
